We are Drowning in Information, but Starved for Knowledge

What is Brahman? (The Vast)
Tat Tvam Asi — That Thou Art.
Vedanta teaches us, through the ancient method of neti neti — "not this, not that" — to turn away from all that is limited, toward that which is infinite. Brahman is non-dual, indivisible, and limitless. It is the One without a second. That which pervades, sustains, and illumines all, yet remains untouched.
Like a red-hot iron glows with fire, Brahman shines through all things as pure awareness.
Atman — the Self — resides in the heart as consciousness itself. It cannot be burned, wetted, cut, or dried. Neither real nor imagined forces can destroy it.
The insentient world cannot appear without consciousness. Thus, I am that all-pervasive awareness.
Even when ignorance arises due to lack of inquiry, it is like a passing mist in the sky — it dissolves with the sunrise of wisdom.
To be an observer of objects is not my true nature; it is an incidental role. I am the formless, waveless ocean of being.
Existence is not an attribute — it is my very nature.
There is no other existence apart from me. I am not a category, a member, or a fragment of the world. I am indivisible.
How Far Down the Rabbit Hole?
How deeply are we willing to go to discover our innate, original nature — the source of all awareness?
This question was raised in The Matrix — not just as fiction, but as a reflection of an ancient dilemma: Are you ready to awaken from illusion and live as the real you?
Some have made the full journey and returned enlightened. Others journey halfway, then return — again and again — to finish what was left behind.
And the rest? They live out their lives unaware, trapped in the cycles of illusion. Mental formations, physical distractions. Enslaved by the herd mentality. Following blindly, sedated by entertainment, led to slaughter like livestock.
This is the Matrix existence — Maya.
The Waste of Our Own Making
We now inhabit a toxic wasteland of our own design — a world built on the back of progress, innovation, and arrogant control. Ever since man discovered fire and the wheel, his ego has grown, and his disconnection from the divine has deepened.
With greed, hatred, and ignorance as his compass, man now teeters at the edge of annihilation. Most remain powerless to change the tide, or unwilling, fearing social shame or legal consequence.
We have forgotten our sacred role — as Khalifah, guardians of the Earth, seekers of truth, servants of the Real. We've traded wings for convenience. We've become pigeons waiting to be fed, unaware that we once soared.
We look up the word "divine" in the dictionary — no longer feeling it within ourselves.
Knowledge Dispels Ignorance
All traditions agree: Ignorance is the root of suffering. And knowledge — not mere data, but direct knowing — is the medicine.
Yet, how many of us take this truth seriously? How many are willing to do the work?
Many have given up. Like Humpty Dumpty after the fall, we believe we’re too broken to be repaired.
In an age of artificial intelligence and endless information, we are like sailors on a sinking ship. We have all the tools, but no one knows how to use a screwdriver.
And yet we still ask our children, “Have you done your homework?”
But have we done ours?
Jnana Yoga — The Path of Knowledge
JΓ±Δna means “knowledge” — not just facts, but realization that stands the test of time.
Jnana Yoga is one of the classical paths of liberation. It demands effort, clarity, and relentless self-inquiry.
As we age, many of us begin to look back and ask: What was it all for?
Were we guided? Or simply herded?
Did we truly live by choice — or by inherited habit?
Religion, culture, and community — all shape us. But unless we examine them, we risk becoming shadows of ourselves.
Many prefer comfort to clarity. Belonging to the group is easier than breaking out of the box. And in this climate, spiritual growth is traded for routine obedience.
"Because I observe the rituals, I will go to heaven."
"The Book says so. The priest or imam assures me."
But the devil, as they say, is in the details.
Blind Faith Is Not Liberation
I do not write this out of rebellion.
I do not reject God or religion.
Nor do I act out of fear of divine punishment or longing for reward.
I simply wish to go home — to the place I came from before this body, before this name.
If that means merging back into the source, so be it.
To be punished forever for the sins of one life would be a betrayal of Divine Mercy.
My God is not wrathful.
My God is Love.
My God is Compassion, Grace, and Understanding.
I reject the idea that this madness, this broken world, is simply the result of "free will" or "the devil."
No, sir.
I believe God walks with us, guides us, and grieves with us — even now.
Final Word
"One of the most valuable things any person can learn is the art of using the knowledge and experience of others."
— Napoleon Hill
Let us not drown in information. Let us seek real knowledge — the kind that frees the soul.
Let us inquire, remember, and realize — before the ship sinks beneath us.
