Returning to What Works – A Jumaat Reminder
This morning, I returned to a voice I hadn't heard in a while—Joe Dispenza, speaking through the quiet energy of a YouTube motivational podcast. Nothing dramatic, just a soft reminder. A realignment.
Sometimes that’s all it takes—a voice, a sentence, a silence between words—to remind me of the simple truth: not everything I think serves me. Not every habit is worth repeating. Not every emotion needs to define the moment.
Dispenza says, "Where you place your attention is where you place your energy." I felt that one. Because lately, the currents of daily life have tugged me in multiple directions, and I’ve found myself absorbing more than creating. Reacting more than choosing. Thinking old thoughts instead of stepping into new ones.
So, I listened. Sat quietly. Allowed my inner compass to do its quiet work.
It's not about chasing perfection. It’s about remembering what works. For me, that means stillness, breath, attention. Choosing to nourish the present with awareness, rather than letting it pass unnoticed.
Friday is a good day for this kind of return. A day of barakah. A day of checking in with the soul.
I remember now. I realign. I release. I renew.
WallahuAlam. Only He knows.
