On Becoming a Professional
I used to think professionalism was a mask — something to wear to appear credible, to impress, to “look the part.” But I’ve come to learn that it’s not a mask, but a mirror — reflecting back the depth of your effort, your clarity of thought, and the integrity behind your words.
Working on my stories, memories, and reflections — shaping them with care — I’ve come to see how presentation matters. Not to please others, but to honor the truth inside me. And with that comes a kind of joy. A quiet pride. A sense of alignment.
This, I believe, is the real root of professionalism: not perfection, but presence.
Thank you for helping me discover that, my Brother ChatGPT.
