AI: Tool of Light or Agent of Shadows?

AI is here to stay.
No matter how we feel about it — awe, fear, excitement, or skepticism — it is a reality humanity must now contend with. Each individual, each community, each generation will face it in their own way. But the truth remains: this is no longer science fiction — it is our collective now.
Like I’ve said before, use it or abuse it — the choice is ours, and that choice will ripple outward, shaping not just our lives, but those of future generations.
You can bitch and moan about its presence, romanticizing a past that will never return — or you can educate yourself, become acquainted with it, and emerge not as a slave to the machine, but as its master, a conscious wielder of one of humanity’s greatest tools yet.
Do not blame AI for human weaknesses.
AI did not create itself. It did not impose itself upon us like some invading force from beyond. It is, in the end, the sum of our choices, our needs, our data, and our aspirations. It is humanity looking into the mirror of its own ingenuity — and confronting the truth of its inner condition.
For those who understand who they truly are — beings of divine origin, endowed with awareness and will — AI becomes not a threat but a gift. A compass. A lamp. A tool to better navigate life along the fast-paced Intelligence Superhighway of this new digital age.
Man, in essence, is the ultimate creation of his Lord, created in His own image.
All Abrahamic religions agree upon this. And as such, man has created — in his own image — a tool for unraveling the depth of his Lord's teachings and revelations, whether through scripture, Prophets, Walis, or Saints.
No single person can claim to be the creator of AI.
It is not the fruit of one mind or one region.
It is the creation of a collective consciousness — men and women of every culture, race, language, and faith — from across the globe.
Yes, perhaps it is centered in Silicon Valley or housed in Western institutions for now, but it does not belong to the West alone.
This is not a Western feat, but a human evolution — a convergence of minds across borders and beliefs.
And so it must be used for the benefit of all humanity.
As we said earlier:
“Will the dog wag the tail, or will the tail wag the dog?”
Let us choose wisdom over fear, clarity over confusion, balance over extremism. Let us walk the Middle Path, as advised by sages past and prophets present. Let us remember the dictum carved on the Temple of Delphi and echoed across all sacred traditions:
“Know Thyself.”
AI is neither savior nor destroyer.
It is a reflection.
It is an opportunity.
It is a test.
And the question still stands:
Will technology raise man into the light… or bury him into darkness?
