Before the adzan calls, before the sun rubs sleep from the eyes of the world, I sit.

Still.
Listening.
Heart open.
Estas Tonne’s guitar drifts like incense across the stillness of morning — each note, a prayer, a sigh, a whisper from some distant soul wandering the ruins of time.

And in that moment, I see it all:
The tears I’ve shed peeling back the layers of my own being —
Like an onion, like memory.
Each layer weeps.
Each farewell is harder than the last.

I no longer need to create stories.
I am the story.
Too vast to be filmed.
Too raw to be scripted.
Any director worth his salt would throw the screenplay into the fire and take up meditation instead.

And yet…

If there were a film — if ever a soul dared to capture it —
Only Robert Redford could walk this quiet grief with that weathered grace.
Only Morgan Freeman could narrate the journey with that sacred hush.
And only Scorsese could dare to frame a life like mine without blinking.

This morning, I heard the call for Gaza.
A reminder of the world’s sorrow — always there, always bleeding.
And still… here I am.
Alive.
Surrendered.
Humming “Ole!”
Chanting “Aho!”
Whispering “WASABI!” — because yes, even absurdity has a place in awakening.

This is not escapism.
This is a flight.
On the winds of faith and surrender.
On the wings of Love and Compassion.
On the backs of the angels of Allah Azza wa Jalla,
Riding the Great Worms of Arrakis like a Fremen of the Heart —
No reins, no fear, only remembrance and rhythm.

So what more could I ask for?

I am here.
You are reading.
The music plays.
The adzan is near.
And this — this moment — is more than enough.
