Opening Invocation

Bismillah ir-Raḥmān ir-Raḥīm

From the Ancient Laws of Manu,
from the Gateless Gate of the Tao,
from the Hermetic principles,
the wisdom of the Upanishads,
and the compassion of the Buddha—

From the lineage of Ibrāhīm (ʿalayhi as-salām),
Mūsā (ʿalayhi as-salām), bearer of the Commandments,
ʿĪsā (ʿalayhi as-salām),
and Muḥammad (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam),
The Seal of the Prophets—

I bow with humility before the Lord of the Worlds,
Allah ʿAzza wa Jalla.

May the wisdom of the ancients,
entrusted through generations,
be shared with all whose hearts are open
in seeking knowledge and walking the path of spirit.

Closing Invocation

I take refuge in the Infinite Mercy of Allah,
Lord of Creation and Power,
from all wrongdoings
and from every shadow of thought and perception.

I take refuge from my own nafs,
and from the whispers of darkness.

May all beings, in the six realms,
in the ten directions,
through past, present, and future—
be delivered from the Unreal to the Real,
from Darkness into Light,
from Death into Immortality.
