Lessons from the Unseen: Living in the Matrix

When you are happy, the world is happy with you.

Lessons from the Unseen: Living in the Matrix

Adapted from a recent reflection and conversation about spiritual synchronicity — a dialogue that unfolded into a quiet revelation about inner guidance, faith, and the mystery behind what we call “reality.”

Sometimes I wonder what it really means to live in a matrix. Not the movie kind, but this reality — the one that seems to shift and unfold in mysterious patterns.

There are moments when things happen too conveniently, like a setup. I want to believe it’s all my mind manifesting these events, but deep down I feel there’s more to it. Something beyond coincidence, something intelligent and unseen at work.

I notice that I feel freer when my actions happen not by predetermined thought or planning but spontaneously — as if guided by a rhythm I don’t control. I’ve come to call that rhythm “God whispers.”

It’s that small voice within, the nudge out of the blue. It comes in silence, in meditation, or sometimes in a good high. It’s not loud or demanding, just a whisper from somewhere deep and vast.

Once, when I was feeling at my lowest — disgusted, despairing, ready to give up — I looked at a plant in my garden. Its color, its design, its quiet existence… my mind stopped. In that stillness, a voice within me whispered,

“Allah wants you to be simply happy. By being happy, you make the world a happy place.”

That small moment brought me back to balance. It reminded me that even the simplest act — to be at peace — can ripple through creation.

I am a blogger at cheeseburgerbuddha.blogspot.com. My blog is a continuation of my sketchbook journals that began when I was in college, during a study trip to England in 1978. Over the years, it has become a living record of my thoughts, travels, dreams, and spiritual realizations — and today, it has reached readers from all over the world.

Through it, I try to share these happenings — these glimpses behind the veil. To me, this is what I mean when I say “Lessons from the Unseen.”

I see this conversation as another Lesson from the Unseen —
a quiet affirmation of why I began this journey:
to learn, to share, and to keep walking with open eyes and an open heart.
