Most present are from close by residents but the number is not half of what is actually the total number of members sadly to say. The so called dignitaries invited to officiate the occasion failed to show up which makes one wonders where their priorities lies when it comes to performing their duties as elected officials. 

 It seems this is the tragedy of the Malays in just about every effort of such similar nature. There will always be those who would disagree and not voice their feelings out but keep it to themselves to be shared with those who have every intention to see failliutre rather than stick to a commitment to the end. The effort to enhance organic farming throughout the country is essential to the nation as a whole. Most of our agricultural lands has been poisoned by chemicals pesticides and fertilizers which has done more untold damage to the environment than is known. 

Men like these are the few who is making a fight towards instilling a feeling of  independence from those who hold sway to how we grow our crops like we have no say in what we do in our own back yard. Major industrial companies especially those that produce these chemicals will go all out to stop the promotion of organic farming backed by those in the government who has financial interest in the business.

Malaysians still have the chance to collectively say not to chemically grown food crops as does most countries around the world. The thrid world nations must make every effort to awaken its people towards the hazards of commercial farming such as carried out today. Local governments has no excuse but to encourage such an undertaking as it will benefit the people and the country in terms of environmental conciousness.
