Sights and scenes at the jetty.

When told that my Auntie was a midwife in the old days this gentleman told me that one of his daughters was delivered by her. We talked of how the Penang Malays are slowly being driven into the sea by what is known as progress.
Floating along like a dead fish but its stingers still intact and can inflict great pains if  come into contact.
What seems like a flower is nothing but a motorcycle helmet placed in the wrong place at the right time.
Despite its tattered and torn appearence this raggerty old flag is a symbol of the Malay patriotism and the  TV disc is a symbol of Malay decadence.
For as long as there is coastline there will be houses built on stilts to house the fishermen and their way of life.
The skyline will always be littered with sky-scrappers bu t the foregrounfdtells a struggle for survival.
This is the mens' world and fishing is a way of life.
Not many years ago the area where the  tall building  stands in the background was where the sea began. The building was erected on reclaimed land.
The calm motionless water acted like a mirror reflecting what was above.
A fish trap in the fore and a a fancy  box for the living in the back.
Safety first!! An electric switch being protected against the  weather using a plastic bottle.
Deep Six!!
A Ghostly apparition in the water.
Life is where the action is only the scene and location is different.
The Century Crab awaiting death in  a  plastic cage.
Way over there is the City.
Upside down it looks like the Alien Creature in the movie Alien.
In Life you have to know your ropes.
