Friday - A day of Mourning for the Nation.

It is Friday and it is also the day where all the recovered bodies of the victims of the Flight MH17 has been returned to their respective homes and for their final resting place.

"A Malaysia Airlines plane carrying the remains of 20 Malaysian victims of the flight MH17 disaster has landed at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 10.00am today.
It is a day of national mourning across the country with flags hoisted at half-mast. A minute's silence was also observed nationwide to honour the dead. Some 300 military personnel and leaders from both political divides are part of the ceremonies today which began at KLIA's Bunga Raya Complex. The remains will later be transported in hearses to their homes and burial grounds" - Malaysia Today.
At the Friday prayer today special prayers were held for the deceased and this is most probably done all over the country in every mosque. This is the kind of event worth noting on why congregational worship is relevant and in a way a healing process for a nation or society. It is most probably the same being carried out in most churches and temples too as the passengers whose bodies were being laid to rest comprised of multi-racial individuals, there are Muslims as well as Christians and others, but the fact that we do take the opportunity to show our condolences towards those who lost their lives due to a tragic event is a sign that we still do care.
On the personal side of the issue, I have no doubt in my mind that in the large scheme of things the MH17 incident has a connection in one way or another with the rest of what is happening around in the Muslim world and someday the truth will be revealed just as the 911 New York incident is slowly reveling its true nature of what really transpired. You cannot bury a stinking corpse and hope that it will be forgotten forever, sooner or later the truth will come to light. For those responsible for the crime against humanity, for this is what it is in the case of the MH17 and the previous disappearance of the MH270 was. Until proven otherwise these incidents will remain as unsolved acts of violence against humanity by man or men. There is no justification as to what would prompt someone or some group of individuals to shoot down a plane full of passengers as no great a cause will justify the heinous act of disregard for human lives if not dignity, for it is a cruel act and an act that has scarred many for the rest of their lives. The parents who lost their loved ones the wives who lost their husbands and the children who lost their mother or father will never recover from the trauma especially when they cannot even see the reamins of their loved ones after it is being torn to shreds by the impact of the deed. How does a man sleep at night when knowing he has done this to others who he has no connections to whatsoever? What kind of a human being can wantonly rip apart the fabric of life without a second thought? As a Muslim I can only say Dajal or the Anti-Christ and his cohort Shaitan, not man!
I still believe in man to still have within him a tiny bit of sense of compassion if not conscience before he can justify taking another man's life to prove his point or promote his cause whatever that may be...but reflecting at the way things are happening these days I may be living in different time zone all together.or on a different planet. Malaysia Airline System is not Emirates or Singapore Airlines, it has been operating at a loss for most of its time  so says the powers that be,, however now with these two woes that has been inflicted upon the Airline, the chances of it falling to bankruptcy is imminent..It would take a miracle for the National Airline to rebound from this fall and if this impending disaster does come to place many would loose their jobs and sources of income and this too is the victim of the crime that was perpetrated its collateral damages is far greater than can be imagined.
And so we Malaysians mourn this day, a Black Friday indeed as far Fridays goes, not just because of the loss of life but also the loss of livelihood, the loss of faith in those who regularly uses the airline and the loss of will for those who have done their utmost to make this country a peaceful country if not advanced to live in.
Who can we be angry at? Who is at fault? Not much to pick from as this is a case of throwing the stone and hiding the hand, cowardly act not worthy of being angry at The one thing great about this country i must admit is that being predominantly a Muslim country, most of its [people can say to themselves, it is the Will of Allah and only He knows what Is. And the Buddhist who also make a good number of citizens here is that they will say 'Such Is', Karma, what goes around will come around. And perhaps the Christians too will say so ye sow and so shall ye reap. But to people like me, this is yet a part and parcel of the"'Cosmic Consciousness" manifesting Itself on a Global scale. These are the warning signs of man loosing their capacity for Love and  Compassion, for Kindness and Caring, these are the signs of man becoming overly confident and arrogant challenging nature at every levels and dimensions. Man's worship of his own self deluded minds has become blind to how he is drifting towards his own self destruction and the Anti-Christ or Dajal is the only scapegoat left for man to blame all his ills. It is ironic that we do not blame our Lord for making it all possible by His non intervention or whatever it is the He is supposed to have done to allow for a better world. Perhaps we are all just pawns in the game of life as is being played out by the Divine against itself, Darkness! And He will send down His only begotten Son to wipe the slate clean, the Christians will testify just the Muslims will declare the same as in Isa- alai- i -salam the son of Mariam will come down and kill Dajal and put things right at the End of Days! In the meantime we, humanity will have to endure our own self created follies out of ignorance and disbelief suffering like cattle bound for the slaughter house.
On this Friday while the Imam preached from the pulpit about the preparations for the after life, I sat wondering why things have to happen the way they do, why is life so much suffering? How do we get ourselves into this mess and how do we as a collective spirit of humanity itself say enough is enough! How do we say with a strong enough voive to be heard on top of Mount Olympus itself that we do not wish to play this game anymore!      .
