Preparing the seedlings.

Choice of rice kept for seedlings

Ashes from burned  leaves collected and mixed with dirt from the ground of rotted bamboo growth.

Setting the dirt in trays for seedling beds.

Carefully shaping the bed.

Using an egg and salt water to seperate the good and not useable seedlings. Add salt to the water till the egg floats.

Empty husks and useless seedlings floats to the surface and is collected and discarded.
Gently scattering the seedlings on the surface of the bed ensuring that it is well scattered with no clumps.

Seedlings are then watered down with a spray

Covering with a thin layer of dirt when it is ready and then water.
