The Flag Wars -1

White collar conservative flashin down the street, pointing that plastic finger at me, they all assume my kind will drop and die, but I'm gonna wave my freak flag high.
Jimi Hendrix

There is no flag large enough to cover the shame of killing innocent people. Howard Zinn

If one were to look at the displays from a collective mind point of view one would realize that the people accept the fact that they are practically at war with their eighbors. This is a collective expression of how angry we are towards one another simply on account of differing ideologies most of which is beyond our comprehensions. We live in fear and ignorance of what is truly happening in our life day to day; and politicians feed on these fears and ignorance .

For creativity, I must give it to PAS as most of the flag-sculptures that i came upon that were most creatively done were those done by the PAS supporters.

This display although looks aesthetically attractive in thpicture is a good example of the waste that was the most critical view i have of thye whole GE13 war of flags; BN went overboard and overkill with spending so muc on flags and banners.

Individuals who felt more inspired to make a contribution towards making the GE13 event more colorful; this gentle man posed for me showing off his ring studded fingers, his trademark among the locals.

This sad looking Turtle was found laying in the hot sun along the Pulau Duyung river - it tells  of the fate of the environment as a whole that this country is facing from political neglection and wanton exploitation by the Greedy who are in power.

When the peolep start to create wapons to kill out of their national symbols and flags, it is sad to say that the collective souls of the nation has become corrupted by anger and remorse. A new governemnt hopefully willl understand the dangers of this state of being. How can we bring peace and harmny back into the lives of the common people when we ourselve are hungry.
