The God Issue with RPK

In one his latest blog Raja Petra Kamarudin wrote an article "Must be SIRIM Approved" which raised the issues of religious freedom in Malaysia.

"Isn’t it ironical? Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians, Hindus, Buddhists, or whatever, are considered people who have followed the wrong path and who are going to spend an eternity in hell. Muslims are not allowed to leave Islam to embrace any of these other unaccepted and false religions. If they do then they can be killed by order of Allah."

This topic about who is right and who is wrong about religion has been a highly debated issue especially in this multi-cultural/ religious nation and RPK is no stranger to getting responses to his articles when there is not much else to talk about. My response to the article is still pending as it has yet to clear the censor board whoever it is that is monitoring my site for clearance; it is still ongoing right now as i am typing. it happened the same yesterday; my response is not blessed by God? or RPK?Perhaps the server is just too slow today?

Here is my response:God has No Religion, Man has many. The fact that you are who you think you are you need a God or something close to the same idea in order to keep you from over expanding your ego and deflating others'. So long as you have no notion of who you are; so long do you need an entity to govern over you, to Lord over you to make sure you are kept in line, to make sure you do not kill off your fellow man; to keep your sanity. God is fear, Control, Faith Love, Compassion whatever you choose Him to be; only so long as you believe you exist. When you know you do not exist as you think you do than you have a God issue to settle.
And the 'thingy' is still revolving at the RPK 'Comment' section not able to send my respond onto his blog. Maybe it is Google that is at fault, maybe God.
I have always maintained that as the wise of old had said, "Know who you truly are before you can know your God",; this i hold to be the truth in my quest towards the Lord I seek.I am a believer, I am spiritual but I have yet to arrive at what is a True religion of man. my intelligence has yet to allow me to see clearly.Institutionalized or organized religions of the world are good for some and bad for others relatively as every need has an ego to feed.God does not need man, God has no problems, God is with or without you and me; we have problems and sadly enough all because of Him,( or so we think). We think so much of and about God, so much so that God has become a scapegoat for all our ignorance. We fail to correct ourselves in our wrongdoings, our misgivings and understanding of Him and blame Him for making our life miserable as it is.
And still the Buddha smile in Noble Silence in answer as to whether there is or there is no God."Life is suffering, he said, but suffering Is and none who suffers. Nirvana is but none who attains it." Simply put, for so long as you and I think a 'Self' exist we will endure suffering and Nirvana is the same, no one attains Nirvana( Liberation) and talk about it.The road to salvation is a lifetime journey and for the Buddhist it is even more so as it takes lifetime after lifetime of incarnation, (the spiritual evolution or man).Like everything else the spirit evolves from the lower state to the divine and vise verse; this is the Buddhist understanding more or less as I understand it to be.
In the Judeo, Christian and Islamic tradition there is the afterlife of heaven and hell as the final retribution or award for having lived life accordingly. All cut and dry, you live well according to the Good Books you enter heaven and hell is for those who strayed from the straight path.Faith, Conscience, Compassion and what not is the characteristic of a good follower and the merit earned for having these goes towards making the decision whether you are heaven or hell bound. God can be wrathful or Compassionate, it all depends on the individual as he is given the free choice in life; the mind to work things out with for himself.
But not all are equipped with similar wisdom to comprehend what is taught or written in the Good Books as most are incapable of even reading much less understand. The Quran began with 'Iqra' or read!, read with right understanding and with this understanding come to your own conclusion. Most of us today read what we want to with the discriminating mind taking what is of benefit to us while neglecting what is not; we read out of context to suit our needs. With this we arm ourselves and take on the rest of the world believing that we are right in our interpretation of what is written.
In this age of the Internet nothing is sacred anymore and all is laid out for dissection and discrimination; every thought and ideas  are subjected to open surgery by the millions whose interest in the matter is just as passionate. If you have an understanding and is willing to share it with the masses than be ready for the backlash and criticism, the support and agreement as your thought and ideas will go through the ringer of the universal mind of the Internet. No government or religious authority is free from making irrational rulings without getting itself being judged at the same time; not anymore. It is for the wise to take note of this before making any rash claims or 'fatwas' as the mind of toady is a collective mind and as such it is not about to allow for individual rational without being tested for its sound truth.
With this in mind it is best to keep politics in political corners and keep religion in its own file. Mixing the two has been proven a disaster for all parties concern as one responder quoted, "there is no end to it'

"Read history and you will find your answer, where issue about religion. That is why many progressive society choose to put religion as a personal issue rather than a state or political issue. It is simply too grey of an area for people to follow. It is always abused and twisted, to no end. If there is no compulsion in religion, then let it be no compulsion and no fear."
