The Originals of the Little penang St. Markt.

In the early days of Little Penang Street Market these are the faces, the movers and the shakers of the whole project that you would see buzzing around making things happen.Today they have been replaced by newer faces but with the same enthusiasm.
Khoo Salma, the lady who was another prime mover of the tourism projects in Penang has  a family history that is closely related to the history of Georgetown itself.
My Jazzman Sam who every now and then would turn up to add some class to the show. What a voice this guy has and can he sing!
These three gentlemen is the epitomy of what Georgetown is, the  China man, the Mat salleh and the Malay and the only missing one is their Indian brother who is off somewhere preparing for the Kavadi.
One of the best laksa that you can enjoy is prepared by Rashid's wife and  served by the rest of his family.
My daughter Marissa and her close friend used to work for Little Penang running around collecting money from the vendors and making sure that all the customers are happy and well informed.
In my latter blog of the Penang International Science Fair at PISA you will see this gentle man doing what he loves best, making things out of folded papers like an origami.
This Philipino lady used to sit and weave bamboo baskets just for others to enjoy watching and below the robot man sits every once in a while in his corner while people takes his picture and paid him for it.
